The Programme of Study presented is from the Master of Science of Instructional Design Technology programme at the University of the West Indies: Open Campus. Participants who select this programme undergo an incomparable and rewarding experience of studying 11 core courses, along with a Research Methods and Research Design course over a period of 34 months. Still a bit hesitant? Take it from me, the programme is like a microworld of an optimal learning environment. Each course places value on cooperative and collaborative activities, real-world application and meaningful and logical organisation of content such as breaking down information into smaller pieces and progressing from easy to advanced topics to name a few. Moreover, there were opportunities to self-regulate, to think about the ways we learned and to reflect. Perusing content in these spaces should certainly convince you. Content features summaries of learning experiences, my personal take on learner value, snippets of reflections and revelations and a few artefacts. Select the courses to find out more.
